Experience

Working with Beth Marie

Whether you visit my city studio or prefer the comfort of your own home, your newborn session is designed to be relaxed and stress-free. When we begin, you can sink into the couch, kick your feet up, and enjoy a little peace and quiet while I take care of everything.

I don’t provide outfits for babies—I love to keep things simple, using soft wraps or photographing your little one in their natural state to highlight the pure beauty of these early days. If you have a special outfit or prop you’d like included, feel free to bring it along. My focus is always on capturing the raw, tender essence of newborns—the tiny details, the quiet moments, and the natural wonder of new life.

FAQ

01. What do I need to bring with me?

If you are breastfeeding, bring everything you need to be comfortable such as a Boppy pillow. If bottle feeding, bring enough bottles two more feedings than you think you will need. My studio seems to induce cluster feeding! Bring several diapers and a few burp cloths.

02. Can you come to our home instead?

Yes. Many families, especially those with young siblings, prefer to have their photos done in the comfort of their own home. All packages can be performed in-home for a travel fee of $200.

03. What do we wear?

If your package includes sibling and family photos, the best colors to wear are white or cream as they best match the Beth Marie Newborns aesthetic. Men/boys typically wear a white button down collared shirt and women/girl opt for a flowing white dress. Babies are nude or wrapped in fabrics I provide. If you want something specific for baby to wear, you may bring it. I will also send you a style guide upon booking to help!

04. Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. Any package can be split into three equal payments over the course of your pregnancy. If you need a payment plan, please mention this when booking.
